Drag the handles to change the order. Arrow keys, Home and End also work.
By default, the next file starts at the previous subtitle's last end time. This is not the media duration. Set each clip's actual duration in settings to keep trailing silence.
Enter one cut per line, as seconds or HH:MM:SS.mmm, in increasing order before the last subtitle ends. Captions crossing a cut appear in both parts, clipped to the boundary. Each part starts at zero.

Frequently asked questions
How is the next file's start time calculated?
The default joins at the previous file's last subtitle end time, which may be earlier than the end of its video or audio. Enter the actual clip duration in settings to include any trailing silence.
What happens to a caption crossing a cut?
The caption is kept in both adjoining parts and trimmed to each part's boundary. Its text stays intact, and each part's timestamps start at zero.
Are WebVTT styles preserved?
Subtitle text and timing are retained. Styles and region definitions are omitted. Choose WebVTT to retain supported caption position settings; SRT uses plain subtitle timing. Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
