Open a neutral gray screen in fullscreen for monitor uniformity checks, color tint inspection, image retention testing, or a balanced background.
A neutral gray screen makes brightness shifts, color tint, dirty-screen effect, image retention, and uneven panel areas easier to compare without the glare of full white.
Choose a preset or custom color before opening the preview in fullscreen. Press Esc to leave fullscreen, then adjust the color and open it again.
For a better display check, view several colors in a dim room and keep the browser zoom at its normal level. The tool displays solid browser colors; it does not calibrate the monitor or repair pixels.
