Add page numbers to every PDF page and choose the number style, position, and starting number.
Choose how the new page numbers appear on every page.
Add visible page numbers to reports, handouts, contracts, scans, and other PDF documents. Choose plain numbers or styles such as Page 1 of 10, then place them at the top or bottom of each page.
You can start at 0 or another number when the PDF belongs to a larger document. The optional cover setting places a white strip over an existing header or footer number area before drawing the new number.
Page numbers are embedded into a new PDF locally in your browser. Your original document is not uploaded or modified.
Page references use the source document's one-based page numbers. Processing creates a separate PDF in your browser and leaves the original file unchanged. Open the download and verify page order, orientation, numbering, links, and visible content before replacing an existing document.
Large PDFs require more browser memory and may take longer to rebuild. Keep an untouched copy until the organized output has been checked in the PDF reader used by the intended recipient.
