Open a pure black screen in fullscreen for backlight bleed, bright pixel, OLED, and dark-room display checks. Choose another color or download a PNG.
A black screen helps reveal bright stuck pixels, backlight bleed, clouding, and light leaking around a display. It is also useful when a second monitor should remain on without drawing attention.
Choose a preset or custom color before opening the preview in fullscreen. Press Esc to leave fullscreen, then adjust the color and open it again.
For a better display check, view several colors in a dim room and keep the browser zoom at its normal level. The tool displays solid browser colors; it does not calibrate the monitor or repair pixels.
