Online Mirror

Start the camera to open the mirror.

Use a connected camera as a browser mirror for checking your appearance, framing a video call, adjusting lighting, or previewing a camera angle.

Choose a camera, mirror or flip the image, zoom the preview, enter full screen, and save a local PNG snapshot. Camera access starts only after you press the start button.

Camera Permissions

Your browser asks for camera permission only after you press Start Camera. The live preview and snapshot are handled on this device.

Mirroring, Zoom, and Snapshots

Horizontal mirroring matches a familiar household mirror. Vertical flip is useful for unusual camera mounts, while zoom helps tighten the framing. Saved snapshots preserve the current mirror, flip, and zoom settings.

How to use the online mirror

  1. Press Start Camera and allow camera access when your browser asks.
  2. Choose a camera, then adjust horizontal mirroring, vertical flip, and zoom until the preview looks right.
  3. Use fullscreen for a larger view, or save a PNG snapshot when you need a still image.

Online mirror FAQ

Is my camera video uploaded?

No. The live preview and snapshots are handled in this browser tab. A snapshot is saved only when you choose to download it.

What if camera permission is blocked?

Open the camera control near the browser address bar, allow access for this site, close another app that may be using the camera, and then try Start Camera again.

Why is the image reversed left to right?

Horizontal mirroring is on by default because it matches a familiar household mirror. Turn it off when you want the unmirrored camera view seen by other people.

Can I use the mirror on a phone or tablet?

Yes, when the mobile browser supports camera access. If the device exposes both cameras, choose the front or rear camera from the Camera menu.
