Use warmer light for a relaxed evening tone, neutral light for balanced illumination, or cooler light for a crisp daytime look. This changes the displayed color and intensity, not the monitor's physical brightness setting.
Place the screen in front of you, then adjust temperature and intensity until the light looks natural on your face or subject. A mostly white browser window will usually produce more useful light than a small preview.
The intensity control changes the color drawn on the screen. It does not change the monitor's hardware brightness, so use the display's own controls when you need more or less total light.
