Use a PDF with standard fillable text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists or selection lists. Read-only fields, buttons and unsigned signature fields are kept unchanged. PDFs without supported fillable fields, password-protected PDFs, XFA forms and digitally signed templates are not supported. You can add standard fields with PDF Form Maker first.
Choose a worksheet and header row, then match columns to PDF fields. Excel uses saved, displayed cell values, including date formats and leading zeros; formulas are not recalculated. CSV values stay as text. Every data row, including blank rows, is processed. Unmapped fields keep their template values; an empty mapped cell clears its field.
For checkboxes use true/false, yes/no, on/off or 1/0; an empty value means unchecked. For a radio button or drop-down list use an exact available option. A multi-selection list accepts one option per line or a JSON array. Invalid values are reported for that row instead of being silently replaced.
Yes. The output keeps its form fields. Fonts are selected automatically for supported text; choose a TTF or OTF font if your text needs other characters. Fonts may increase each PDF's size. Check the preview for text that is too long for the original field. Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded. Digitally signed templates are rejected to avoid invalidating a signature. Use ordinary text fields without separate character boxes for right-to-left text.
