Does this translate the subtitles?
No. Supply both language versions yourself. The tool combines their existing text and uses timing to find matches.

Positive values show the second file later; negative values show it earlier. Any cue moved before zero must be corrected.
Select source cues below or enter their numbers. Manual pairs replace automatic links for those cues. Preview again to apply the settings; every source text remains available.
With a video selected, open both the merged subtitles and video in the editor. Without one, download SRT and import it in the editor. You can then edit or export a video with burned-in subtitles.
Files are processed in your browser without being uploaded to a server. Original files are unchanged.
Matching uses subtitle timing, not translation. Automatic pairs require more than half of the shorter cue to overlap. Related cues are grouped without dropping their text; their output spans the group's earliest start and latest end. Unmatched text is kept by default. Review the result when files have different timing or come from different video versions.

Qualifying time matches form a group. Text from each file stays in source order on its own line, and the merged cue covers the group's full time span. Large groups are marked for review; use the source cue browser and manual pairs to adjust them.
Unmatched text is retained by default. You can explicitly exclude it in advanced settings. Empty text, invalid timing and unreadable subtitle blocks are reported and need correction before merging.
A fixed offset can correct a known timing difference. Cuts, different scene lengths or gradual drift can still leave incorrect or unmatched cues. Review the preview and set manual pairs where needed; automatic matching does not guarantee alignment across different versions.
