  3. Set looping, background and color count. Select Generate, review the encoded GIF, then download.

Text to GIF FAQ

Why can the exported GIF look different from the preview?

GIF uses a limited color palette and frame delays rounded to hundredths of a second. Transparency is binary, so translucent edges or fades may look harder.

How can I make the GIF smaller?

Reduce canvas dimensions, frame rate, duration or color count. Holding the final frame adds a longer delay rather than duplicate frames.

Can I save a still frame instead?

Yes. Play or pause the canvas preview and select Save current frame as PNG. This saves the visible preview frame, not an editable text document.
