Speed up or slow down audio from 0.25x to 4x while keeping voices and music near the original pitch.
Use 0.5 for half speed or 2 for double speed. Pitch is preserved.
Change playback tempo for podcasts, lectures, interviews, music practice, transcription, language learning, or creative effects. Enter any decimal speed from 0.25x to 4x or adjust the slider.
A 2x setting makes the result about half as long, while 0.5x makes it about twice as long. Tempo processing preserves pitch, so voices do not automatically become squeaky when sped up or deep when slowed down.
The tool creates a new audio file in the selected format. Preview the source before processing and use the full Audio Editor when you also need trimming, volume changes, or background music.
