UID and recurrence ID identify versions of the same stored event. Keeping the first or last also discards conflicting versions. File import order decides which version is first.

Yes. RRULE, EXDATE, RECURRENCE-ID, and other original event properties remain in the exported ICS unless you edit or remove them. The viewer lists the stored recurring event and override records; it does not expand repeats and replace their rules.
TZID parameters and VTIMEZONE definitions are preserved. All-day dates stay dates, and their end date remains exclusive. Timed values display in their stored zone, while floating values keep their wall-clock meaning. Calendars with conflicting definitions for the same TZID must be resolved before merging. Calendars with different calendar methods or calendar systems must also be exported separately.
Keep every event is the default. Remove exact duplicates discards only identical event records. Keep first or keep last uses the UID together with RECURRENCE-ID and can discard conflicting versions, so choose it deliberately. Import order determines first and last.
No. ICS export includes every event retained by the selected duplicate policy and all preserved calendar components. CSV export includes all events matching the current filters, including rows beyond the visible preview. CSV is a summary and cannot preserve the complete calendar structure.
The complete event editor includes the stored VEVENT with its alarms, recurrence data, and unknown properties. Applying it replaces that event. Ordinary title, location, description, and date edits keep other properties. Keep your original files as a backup.
