Move every WebVTT cue earlier or later by the same amount. This helps resync VTT captions when the timing is consistently ahead of or behind the media.
Shift every subtitle cue by one offset
Enter a decimal number of seconds, choose earlier or later, and the tool adjusts both the start and end of every cue. Millisecond offsets are supported, so values such as 0.250 can correct small synchronization errors.
Avoid negative subtitle times
Keep Keep times above 0 enabled when shifting captions earlier could move the first cue before the beginning of the video. The affected timing is clamped to zero instead of creating an invalid negative timestamp.
A uniform time shift fixes subtitles that are consistently early or late. It cannot correct gradual drift caused by a different frame rate, an edited video, or changing synchronization errors. Check cues near both the beginning and end before downloading the shifted VTT file.
