How to listen
Add one or more audio files. For raw PCM, check the parameters and confirm; ordinary audio is detected automatically.
Use Play, the position slider or a waveform click to listen. Position inputs accept seconds or HH:MM:SS with decimals.
Set A and B to repeat a passage, choose a channel, or download WAV. Switching to another PCM file requires confirmation again.
The waveform is a playback overview, not an editor. A/B positions control looping without changing the source. When focus is outside controls, Space toggles playback and the arrow keys move five seconds. Use Audio Editor for cutting or effects.
Frequently asked questions
Can I open Opus files ending in .ogg?
Opus audio is often stored in Ogg with an .opus or .ogg extension. The file carries timing and codec information, so raw PCM settings are unnecessary. Use A/B looping to revisit voice messages or interview passages.
Can I repeat a passage without cutting the file?
Yes. Open A/B section loop, set a start and end within the track, then enable looping. Use the current-position buttons or enter times directly. The source file is not modified.
Are my audio files uploaded?
Playback, PCM interpretation and WAV downloads run in your browser. Your audio files are not uploaded to a server.
Can I resume listening after reopening the page?
The browser remembers positions for recent files on this device. Add the same file again to restore its position. Files themselves are not saved, and raw PCM still requires parameter confirmation.
Can I play long recordings?
Raw PCM is read in chunks. Directly playable files do not require full decoding before playback. Some long files show only a timeline; compatibility conversion and WAV downloads still depend on available device memory.
