Find the exact elapsed days between two calendar dates, along with complete weeks, hours, and the calendar difference in years, months, and days.
The order of the dates does not change the absolute elapsed-day count. Direction is reported separately so you can tell whether the second date is earlier or later.
Years and months are applied before weeks and days. When the destination month is shorter, the day is clamped to the final valid day of that month. For example, adding one month to January 31 produces the last day of February.
Date difference shows elapsed days and calendar duration. Working-day modes use your selected weekends and holidays.
The default is elapsed calendar days, including weekends. Enable counting both dates to add one day; the same date then counts as one. Use Business Days to exclude weekends.
The total remains a non-negative count. Direction shows whether the end date is earlier or later. Inclusive counting works in either direction.
Yes. The count follows actual calendar dates, including February 29. Months and years are shown separately because calendar months have different lengths.
