“The spirit of the age” says we shall have wheatless, meatless, sweetless, heatless and almost eatless days, but says nothing about tobaccoless, drinkless, chewing-gumless, candyless, soft-drinkless, jewelryless, fashionless days.
If you never have gone on a completely wheatless diet it is worth a trial, regardless of whether you are over- or underweight. Cut out all bread, cakes, pies, gravies in which there is flour, spaghetti, breaded foods, etc.
