Leave both blank to keep the original size. If only one value is set, the other side is scaled automatically to preserve aspect ratio.

PNG uses lossless compression, so it can store decoded BMP pixels without another lossy quality step. PNG is often smaller than an uncompressed BMP, but the final size depends on the image contents.
Leave both dimensions blank to keep the decoded source size. Enter only a width or height to scale the other dimension proportionally. Resizing changes the pixels, and conversion does not add detail or transparency that the BMP does not contain.
